WARRANTY, RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

Eligible Products - Terms & Conditions

The Walter Bat Company offers a warranty policy on all of our wood bats exclusive of award and trophy bats. We do not offer a warranty policy on apparel, accessories, or other products. 

Use of this product constitutes your acceptance of the Walter Bat Company’s Warranty and all conditions, limitations and restrictions set forth herein. If you do not agree to all conditions, limitations and restrictions set forth herein, you may return the unused bat, in its original condition, and with the original proof of purchase to Walter Bat Company for a full refund within 15 days of receipt.  Personalized items are not eligible for refund. 

 

Wood Bat Warranty

Walter Bat Company offers a 30 day warranty on our wood bats, excluding trophy or award bats.  All wood bats are handcrafted to exact specifications. Upon completion, your bat is inspected to ensure no blemishes or defects. Still, there are times that your bat may break for a variety of reasons.  If your bat breaks within 30 days of receipt, we will be happy to provide a replacement bat, as long as there is no evidence of misuse such as hitting anything other than standard baseballs, hitting the bat against a floor, wall or other surface, or collapsed cups.   

Warranty bats will be replaced with a comparable model within four weeks. If a bat is deemed misused or still functional upon being inspected, the customer will be notified and have the option of paying for its return.  

All returns must be shipped within 10 business days of a submitted warranty claim. To submit a claim, please email for a return authorization: info@walterbats.com.  

Dispute Resolution: In the event that any dispute regarding any condition of a Walter bat or any warranty claim cannot be resolved, purchaser and Walter Bat Company agree that the dispute shall be subject to binding arbitration in Nashua, New Hampshire and that New Hampshire law shall be applicable to the resolution of the dispute. 

Notes: Bats returned without Original Proof of Purchase will not be warrantied. Warranty returns missing an authorization form will experience delays in the replacement process. Registration is not required for warranty purposes.

Returns & Exchanges

Customized items such as award bats and trophy bats may not be returned or exchanged.  In the rare case where an error is made in the personalization, the company will reproduce and replace the bat at no cost to you.  The company is not responsible for errors made in ordering; carefully review engraving and personalization before placing order.

For apparel, you may exchange your order for a different size.  Contact info@walterbats.com to arrange.
