The Walter Bat Company is the culmination of two passions - entrepreneurship and baseball.

With a nod to the founder of the longstanding W.H. Bagshaw Company, and with the same entrepreneurial spirit, the husband and wife team of Aaron and Adria Bagshaw have launched a wood bat business within the W.H. Bagshaw Company.

In 1870, Walter H. Bagshaw opened a pin manufacturing factory in Lowell, Massachusetts, which moved to Nashua NH in 1949. For the past 150+ years, the company has continued to make precision parts for a variety of industries.

Turning wood billets into baseball bats is strikingly similar to the process of turning metal into components. This expertise in metal manufacturing led to the W.H. Bagshaw Company making the jump into manufacturing wooden products by way of launching the Walter Bat Company, whose aim is to bring you top quality wooden bats and other baseball-related merchandise.
